My wife (who happens to be a professional photographer) will be taking some good photos of it before the end of the month and I’ll post them back up here.
End result:
It is an amazing space and roomy! The isolation is pretty good and the train (as suspected) has been reduced to a low rumble – nothing that a HPF won’t fix!
I did some acoustics testing using Fuzzmeaser and a calibration mic. The overall frequency balance is very flat, however the decay times are not very good yet at a uniform distribution of about 500ms. There’s some flutter echoing happening so I need to get a few more absorbers.

Looking pretty sweet! Hoping I can somehow build myself a small studio in our partially finished basement next year. Good luck!
